That’s me in a selfie.
Losing my complexion.
Your humble narrator and flaneur knocked out nearly 7 miles of walking and didn’t find what he was fairly certain he had lost, or forgotten. The boulevards were littered with people today, and among them the least fortunate, the forgotten and generally scorned. He noted in a message to a friend that he had never seen so many lost souls out on the pavement, and surely this was true, at least not since bygone days in New York. Since the tenements collapsed into the sidewalks spilling their human contents out into the parks and shelters.
Aaaand… I dont like the feel of this. It’s not my narrative voice. True though, it has been quite some time since I’ve seen so many addicts piled out onto the pavement. But then again, everyone was out, so why not them too? Good weather brings people out, and despite anything, they are still people. So okay, forget all the text and enjoy the doctored photo and the goofy caption.
