Going back to the idea that everything and everybody in the whole Universe has an optimal viewing distance. Too close or too far are similar in that details end up distorted, or are entirely obscured.

Remember how grotesque everything to Gulliver when he found himself in Brobdignag. Remember how simple, mundane details became alien and horrible.
