I don’t trust people for whom music holds no central place in their lives.

People who only listen to one genre of music have shit instincts.

Anyone who can summarily dismiss an entire genre of music has an ulterior motive that has nothing to do with the music. For example, writing off hiphop is really only thinly veiled racism.

Listening to music only to soothe or relax is empty and shows a lack of intelligence. It’s a sign that the person is terrified of their own feelings.
