Cash Rules Everything Around Me…
I did a web search this morning on “meditations on money,” and came up with a result that shouldn’t have surprised me. The top returns were meditations on how to manifest success with money. Still, knowing that there are ‘self-help’ businesses that make their bank on money management schemes and get-rich-quick plots (and that they are the people employing Adwords to come up near the top of any search), I was somewhat non-plussed. Problems with money are akin to any other personal issue that people aren’t eager to examine, but do most people really believe it’s all just a question of how to get more cash? I’ve never met anyone anywhere on the economic scale who felt they had enough, so why not ask first what ‘enough’ is?
How much is enough? Of anything really?
How much does a person need? Once they reach a certain previously-set goal, do you stop there?
What if you don’t reach that goal?
Why is the goal what it is anyway?
This is the beginning of a giant open-ended question. It’s another placeholder. It’s not even about money so much is it’s about need and attachment. I’m pretty certain of that right from the start.
