Sustainability

I have/had reached a point in my life where the amount of time I spent ranting about the state of the world was inversely proportional to the amount of time I spent making even the smallest part of the world (my own) a better place to live. The very act of giving a fuck was so exhausting that there was little to no energy left to create anything, even the smallest window of peace.

It could very well be argued that the act of caring and being seen as caring became more important that the sum total of people and things to care about. The jury is out on that but perhaps a guilty plea is in order? No judgments yet. A day can be rebooted at any point during the day.

Turn it off.

Turn it back on.

The anger is not sustainable. It all recalls the words of The Crocodiles:

Justifiable anger will kill you. Leave it for people who are more emotionally and spiritually capable. It will kill you.

I understand now.
