Wicked mix by any stretch of the imagination. It’s not exactly where my head is at today but it absolutely works. Trap beats with traditional Japanese classical? Who would have thought of it. The internet is a wishing well. If you can conceive of it, it’s been created, for the best and worst of your own conjurings.

This, by the way, for some context:

“Kagu-tsuchi (カグツチ) is the god of destructive fire. In Japanese mythology, Kagu-tsuchi’s birth burned his mother Izanami, causing her death. His father Izanagi, in his grief, beheaded Kagu-tsuchi with his sword, Ame no Ohabari (天之尾羽張), and cut his body into eight pieces, which became eight volcanoes. The blood that dripped off Izanagi’s sword created a number of deities, including the sea god Watatsumi and rain god Kuraokami.”

Mythology/religion in every culture can be pretty hideous by the standards of what we think of ourselves as humans. Except of course if you think being human is just base and class, which it is some days. We eat and shit and it stinks. That’s the bottom line, no pun intented.

Yet when we get down to it, we are capable of beauty like this mix.
