All due respect to his career and his talent, but Peppino De Luca couldn’t have understood how delightfully and perfectly stupid the title track sounded with someone bellowing and screaming GIRL WITH A GUN over an otherwise great jam. We’ll give it to him though, because this is about the strangest Giallo soundtrack I’ve come across so far. It’s actually insane, running from fuzzy guitars, to dialogue clips from the film to bouncy carnival organ jams. Hats off, Big Man. This one is a riot. I was about to give it a pass until I heard the title track and then decided it merited further consideration as a whole.
