These outlaw guys… these cosmic cowboys… these West Texans… I didn’t really understand Buddhism until I read their lyrics. Until I understood their lyrics. We weigh and measure all these things and put values on everything in our lives, but it’s all the same in the end. One thing is as good as another thing, and that’s not to say nothing has any value at all. Just that it’s all the same. When everything weighs the same, you find weightlessness. It’s all good and it’s all bad. Everything is everything and it’s all the same.
