Memories… I can’t revel in memories of the dirtiest bars in NYC, but the fact is I drank in a bunch that were notorious for filth, like Mars Bar, CBGB’s and of course The Lismar Lounge https://vassifer.blogs.com/alexinnyc/2015/01/back-to-the-lismar-lounge.html

This last one, I have to say, was just as notorious for a clientele that took their badassedness and IWearOnlyBlackNess far too seriously. There were several occasions where friends and I went in decked out like Parrotheads and started shit. I’m not proud of that, but I should probably be more ashamed than I am.
