Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?

Damn good question. Nothing really sexy at all about this cover, but it’s no less sexy than the pseudo-queer, pseudo-disco of the original by Rod Stewart. It’s also no better than the original which was really kind of a shit novelty song and I’ll argue that tooth and nail. The highest level of praise you could give Rod’s version is calling it self-parody, but it’s hard to say if he was even aware that it was silly trash.

That aside, it’s just stupid enough to be fun. Why give it any more than that? Allow yourself a guilty pleasure. Any version of the song will do. I prefer this one.
