This is one of the more unique lo-fi hiphop mixes I’ve heard in a very long time. I’m entirely unfamiliar with any of the producers/DJs, perhaps because they’re from France, or maybe I just don’t know enough about the genre. It’s often pretty generic to my ears though, until you get to something like this. This mix is memorable. This mix makes me want more. That’s kind of rare. Often the electronic music occupies a space somewhere between background music or soundtrack and present, but not really either. This commands attention and engagement though.

There’s a dense fog outside this morning and it oddly mirrors the dense fog inside my head. It’s no lack of sleep. It’s something… something else. I can’t put my finger on it. It is, like fog, a heavy vapor. I can feel it but I can’t touch it. It can touch me but there is no retaliation.

Strange. So what do I do? Just move on?

I guess so.
