This new mix from BeatPeteMixtapes on Youtube is working for me this morning. It’s… different and it’s landing just right on an early summer morning. No clue what today will bring but that really depends on my direction upon leaving the house. I will be leaving the house today.

The world is about as strange as it’s ever been. Things are still hot as fuck in Ukraine but the news isn’t serving up much of that. They seem content to let that part of the war go on while our tax dollars destroy hospitals. The Gaza business is as ugly as it’s ever been and that’s dominating the news outlets at the moment. Something has to change there but it looks like the major change is that there will be no Palestinians left to either fight or save. We’ll only find out who is truly responsible when we follow the money to the new beachfront hotels that are certain to pop up in the next five years. I’m kind of fucking done with the whole business. Everyone wants me to take a side, but the fact is I took a side decades ago and people called me names just for saying it wasn’t as simple as they were making it out to be. I’ve never been fond of “hate to say I told you so” scenarios, but fuck it… I hate to say I told you so. What a mess. This town’s in tatters. Imma shattered.

I don’t know. Now Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felony counts in New York courts. Will it make a difference? What happens if a convicted felon wins in November? Will everyone just surrender? His side isn’t going to take his loss well, and that means violence, but can he lose? It’s beginning to look a lot like the fox is going to be elected back to the henhouse by the hens themselves.

Things are looking ugly. I guess I should start training because it’s looking like shit is going to heat up here. For now though, I’m going to stick with this mix. Maybe go out and get a tan.
