You’ll have to wait for the memoir to get the full story. It could be a book unto itself, this saga of parenthood. It’s a sordid tale of growing up fast, or not growing up fast, or not growing up at all. It all depends on how you prefer to look at it. It depends on how you prefer to look at me. You will, should you decide to look at all, make your own decisions. That’s got as much to do with you as it does with me. Life is funny that way. We all see what we want to see. We don’t see what we don’t want to see. We apply a wash of bias and personal fear. We judge. We move to the next story.
Happy Fathers Day.
