Everybody on one side is talking about being “Woke” and on the other side they’re talking about “The Great Awakening.” I’ve already said that both are sadly deluded but it deserves more focused attention. In the service of transparency I do have to admit that I do sympathize with the left, and have an unabashed disdain for the right and in particular Trumpists and Q-Anon ass clowns. They go beyond deluded and are up to their tits in preposterous conspiracy theories and generally ludicrous ideology.

The problem begins in language and how language steers our paradigms. It’s framed primarily in how we view the terms “liberal” and “conservative.” This video, while it lasts online, is a good primer on why both words have lost their meaning, and where we actually are within “The Matrix.” It shows why both our major political parties here, and their supporters amongst the “woke” and the “awakened” are bitterly fighting each other toward the same ends. In short, I do believe that whether you vote Democrat or Republican, you have to know that the major differences aren’t in ideology but in how well you get treated as a serf (yes, intellectual, spiritual and economical serfdom). I’ll say right now also that while both sides do harbor people who are asking the right questions, nobody has gotten anywhere close to a solution (though some on the left are starting to make a lot of noise and are looking in the right direction).

The video does a good job in explaining how the Democrats fucked up in 2016 also.

These arguments are largely why I refuse to sit down and engage in “civil discourse” or “Hegelian dialectic” with people. It’s all very much like pissing up a rope. You can’t have honest discussion about real world problems inside a mythological/false narrative. There is no real “other side” to understand and not just because its proponents don’t understand it themselves. It’s because it’s patently untrue. Fairly, getting all giddy about another Clinton Clone or Bernie-Lite for 2020 doesn’t make much sense either.

So the video (again, while it’s still up on Youtube) will offer a bit of information on what I’m saying about The Matrix, and being either woke or awakened. It’s like The Matrix itself has opened up alternative corridors inside itself to distract those who are just woke/awakened enough to detect irregularities or glitches and keep them occupied for a while.

Brief example and I’ll let it be for now: I am just woke enough to know what a big fucking deal it is that Barack Obama was elected president. It’s huge! But it’s huge within a framework. He also had a lot of great ideas that were never fully realized, but then again they were never supposed to be realized. They were thrown out to distract the partially woke and appease us. If you look at his international agenda, it was very much neo-liberal, globalist, and really kind of shit for the populations of the developing world. Also, drone strikes on women and children to smoke a single terrorist, all truly only in the service of making it safe for Western Globalist Corporate Exploitation really isn’t cool at all, is it. Yet, I can sit here and feel good about myself because he is as close to really progressive as anyone we’ve had in a while… just as long as I don’t think about the dead brown kids on the other side of the world. How woke is that? You really have to have taken the Blue Pill to wake up and look in the mirror when your hero is party to that bullshit.
