COVID-19, part 75, and Argument of the Day

Just a bit of perspective since I haven’t put one of these up in a while. These are the official numbers from this morning. The White House still insists our numbers are higher (accounting for more than a fifth of the world’s fatalities) because we are doing more testing. Reports from the rest of the world confirm this is bullshit. No surprise there.

My argument of the day though: The Covid-19 pandemic is not the single factor, but only a contributing part of both national and worldwide crises. If you think 2020 has gone as low as it can go, it’s going to get worse. The pandemic is not the novel event that is going to rock the world. I’m not going to make any predictions for what its going to be, but for all the complaints about 2020 and talk of hope for 2021, we’re going to have to wait a little longer for happy times.

2021 is going to make 2020 look like a stroll in the park.

Change my mind.
