Small Screen Quarantine – Vampires Vs. The Bronx

Very clever take on gentrification in New York City, and pride of place. It is not without major flaws, similar to a lot of Netflix productions. For example, there is at least one major villain/vampire that is introduced in daylight but later can only come out at night. We’ll let that pass, but it’s the sort of thing that prevents a fun film from being a good film. C’est la vie. You just have to run with it sometimes, and that’s what I did. There are no pretenses here about being a serious film despite that the theme is serious. The message is effectively delivered. I’ll give it a thumbs up and move on.
