Not my favorite mix so far, but in the spirit of exploration. It was originally going to be another SOVIETWAVE mix but why not head in another direction for the morning? While the Sovietwave triggers some other dream/memory this is more reminiscent of video game soundtrack material. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me for daily listening but it’s of a different generation that was actually soundtracked by gaming. Looking at Youtube comments now a lot of younger people are saying they first heard tunes in a game and thusly discovered the bands. Fair enough, man. However it comes to you, take it. None of that stuff existed in my childhood. We were all our own video game avatars, for better and for worse. We soundtracked for the lives we were acting out.
