It can only be geography that kept CARSICK CARS from being one of the biggest bands in the world (of their time). For all the underground influences from the West, this album could not be more accessible. Hard rock with sharp hooks. What more could a music fan want? They are, so far, my favorite of the Beijing underground bands.

The only thing this album lacked was proper promotion and distribution. The music world is fickle as hell though and they are definitely not the only incredible band that should have gotten more recognition.
