This will likely be the last “first tweet of the day.” It struck me, copying this one just now, how soul-destroying it is to wake up and read the news. It’s got to be done, for sure, but at what point in the day is it safe? This is our world now, where we report teachers for telling children their own history. That’s the divisive subjects they’re talking about. The state of Florida just pushed through legislation to make sure that critical race theory (history) doesn’t come up in schools or on the job. They list particular subjects as those that make people uncomfortable.

It’s an anti-truth bill, basically.

I could post links, but that means I would have to look up and read the links, and I just don’t have that in me at the moment.

Anyway, it looks like this was a bad idea, for me anyway.
