We’ll just start out by saying that despite the juvenile album title, Transmissions From Uranus is one banger after another. HANZEL UND GRETYL are badass. No joke. Also of note, it’s interesting that after Nine Inch Nails, the whole industrial scene took a decidedly metal turn, and that’s okay too. It made metal more interesting, as far as I’m concerned. Power ballads and hairspray were getting fucking boring. I mean, not that all of metal went in this direction, but enough… I don’t want to go down the genre, sub-genre, micro-genre rabbithole. You could carry on for days about that shit and never say anything meaningful. This is a great record here. End of story.
